The Pure Essence of Untouched Nature

This gallery collects a selection of the best pictures that I have taken during a summer trip to the Faroe Islands, an archipelago located in the north Atlantic ocean between Iceland and Norway.  

The main aim of this photographic project was to showcase the pure essence of the Faroese untouched nature. In fact, This series of islands is a place where time seems to stand still, where nature still preserves its ancient quality of rawness. What I have looked for with my images is to manifest the sense of wonder experienced when you stand in front of these immortal giant rock formations.
